Just when we were making headway against the White Doom, it attacks again. I fear that we may be facing a White Doom insurgency that will stop at nothing but the closing of the U.S. government (wait, that already happened for the past three days).
We had completely cleared our driveway of the White Doom and were mobile again, when suddenly we are faced with a White Doom fury that includes 6 inches of new snow so far and forceful support from the wind. I am not sure how the neighbors are doing as we can’t even see their houses right now.

We have made an amazing discovery in the battle against the White Doom! We have found a critical weakness, very similar to that which kills vampires. The White Doom can be killed by the sun!

Another survivor reports that they snapped this photo of a father leading his children into the White Doom. Not sure if he is sacrificing them or is infected and not thinking straight. Our fellow survivor notes – “I found this poor soul dragging two injured children straight into the White Doom! Desperation has set in.”
The phone just rang. It was this guy Wayde Byard calling to warn us that the White Doom had shut the schools down for the Monday and Tuesday. I wonder if the schools will ever open again.
It turns out we aren’t the only survivors. Encountered several of our neighbors out battling the White Doom. In addition, there are bands of mercenaries roaming the roads offering to battle the White Doom for money. I’m not sure if they are Blackwater, Triple Canopy, or just loosely organized capitalist trying to prey on vulnerable survivors. The White Doom has not abated yet, though it seems to be attacking with less fury.
We’ve been battling the evil white stuff all night. We can not stop it’s advance. There must be at least 24″ of the stuff out there right now.
Our house is covered in snow and quickly becoming overwhelmed. We turned the heat up to 95 degrees to try and get it to melt, but it isn’t working. Thinking about starting a small controlled fire inside as a backup plan. Going out for a recon trip right now. Are there any other survivors out there? I fear we may be all that remains of humanity.
If you needed another sign that this was the snowpocalypse….thundersnow.
Too many people wandering on the highways infected with the White Doom. Once they clear the highways, the infected might try and break into your residence. Be vigilant!
People living in the Yellow and Purple bands on the WUSA9 TV map are getting “hammered” with snow. If you live in one of those bands take extra precautions!
